Principal & Founder

Paul's passion is developing people and organizations. He has over 25 years of experience creating and implementing leadership development and coaching plans that align with business goals and priorities.

As an experienced global talent leader, Paul ensures organizations are prepared with leaders focused on building teams that achieve the goals that matter. He encourages idea generation through questioning and open dialogue, and he is deeply committed to developing strong executives.

Paul has held leadership roles at Medtronic and Hillrom where he served as VP, Global Leadership & Talent Development and Executive Director, Talent Management & Organization Development, respectively. In both positions he led global talent management and succession planning initiatives to ensure a pipeline of ready leaders. He has also held HR leadership roles at Cargill, US Bank, and Allina Health Care System.

Paul is a licensed psychologist. He obtained his PhD in counseling psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his BA in psychology at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

A native Minnesotan, Paul still calls Minneapolis home. When not leading Global Talent Strategies, he enjoys traveling, photography, University of Minnesota Basketball, and Minnesota United soccer.

Dick is an executive coach who consults in the areas of executive and management appraisal, team development, selection testing, leadership development, and organizational change. He has worked with professionals from first-line supervisors to CEOs in America’s largest companies. This work creates both stronger leadership as well as organizational alignment to achieve business goals.

In addition to his work with Global Talent Strategies, Dick is the President & Founder of Olson Consulting Group. Previously, Dick held a leadership role at Personnel Decisions International. Dick has a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from the University of Minnesota, an MA in organizational psychology from Ball State University, and a BA in psychology from Bethel University. He is a licensed psychologist.

Carol-Lynn-Courtney

Carol Lynn is an executive coach and consultant in the areas of executive selection, management selection, development assessment, organization, and team development. She has worked with individuals and teams at large and small companies throughout the U.S. and internationally.

In addition to her work with Global Talent Strategies, Carol Lynn is President, Courtney Consulting Group. Previously, Carol Lynn held leadership roles at Consulting Psychologists, Inc., Quaker Oats, Motorola, Pillsbury, and Malt-O-Meal. She has a Ph.D. in industrial organizational psychology from Southern Illinois University, an MS in experimental psychology from Syracuse University, and a BA in psychology/biology from Wells College.

Sue is an executive coach experienced in consulting to individuals, teams, and organizations to improve their effectiveness. Sue’s focus in coaching is to give clients the feedback they need to build awareness of how their behaviors are impacting others, help fine tune their strengths, and add positive behaviors to their “leadership toolkit.”

In addition to working with Global Talent Strategies, Sue is Owner and Principal of Colby Consulting. Previously, Sue worked at Target in various HR positions, including leading organization development where she coached Target’s executives. Sue has a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Minnesota and a BA in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. Sue is a licensed psychologist.

Janet has worked with executives and organizations around the world as an executive coach, strategist, and consultant to senior leaders. Her background includes leadership development initiatives in the U.S., Asia, Latin America, and Europe. She is focused on equipping first-time and experienced executives with the skills and point of view for long-term success.

In addition to working with Global Talent Strategies, Janet is President of In the Lead, Inc. Janet has held leadership roles at C.H. Robinson and Korn Ferry International. She is a retired lieutenant colonel of the U.S. Marine Corps. Janet received her Ph.D. in organizational learning and development from the University of Minnesota, her MS in education from East Carolina University, and her BA in education from the University of Wisconsin-Menomonie.

He coaches and advises across multiple industries and is an adept expert at focusing on what matters most. Tim brings a caring and genuine curiosity matched with a proven coaching methodology.

In addition to working with Global Talent Strategies, Tim is President and Principal of Bot Coaching and Consulting. Previously, Tim held HR leadership roles at General Mills, Boston Scientific, and Proto Labs. Tim received his executive coaching certification from the Hudson Institute of Coaching. He has an MA in HR and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and a BS in business management and social science from St. John's University.
